Cadillac is introducing it's latest V-badged performance model - the 2026 OPTIQ-V. The badge gives Cadillac's smallest all-electric SUV some impressive numbers. Equipped with standard dual motor all-wheel drive, it delivers 519-horsepower with 650 pound-feet of torque in Velocity Max mode. All that equals FAST, and by that we mean a super-quick Cadillac-estimated 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds (in driver-selectable Velocity Max).
“V-Series continues to help forge Cadillac’s performance legacy by providing customers an exhilarating driving experience,” said John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac. “OPTIQ-V will be a significant addition to the V-Series portfolio bringing in new customers to the brand and emphasizing Cadillac’s global impact.”

The 2026 OPTIQ-V will also be General Motors’ first vehicle confirmed to feature a integrated Tesla-charging port, (officially known as North American Charging Standard or NACS port. ) This will give owners access to NACS fast-chargers without the need for an adaptor.
“Integrating the native NACS port into our vehicle architecture is an important step forward, reflecting our leadership in engineering and our commitment to providing our customers with more charging options,” said John Cockburn, OPTIQ-V chief engineer.
OPTIQ-V includes an 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack that will enable a Cadillac-estimated 275 miles of range.
Additional performance-supporting and enhancing technologies include:
- V-Mode takes performance customization further, allowing drivers to save performance-focused settings, including Competitive Mode and a unique sound experience. It’s intended to offer instant access to their preferred performance-driving settings via the V button, mounted on the steering wheel. V-Mode can also be accessed in the Drive Mode app within the 33-inch-diagonal advanced LED display.
- Launch Control designed for consistently thrilling straight line acceleration. When engaged in V-Mode or Velocity Max, the vehicle will deliver a rapid 3.5 second 0-60 acceleration.
- Competitive Mode enables a suite of traction management features specifically engineered to increase vehicle agility.

- Brembo performance front brake calipers are standard. In addition to providing excellent stopping capability, they’re designed to provide consistent, fade-resistant performance during spirited driving. Available blue or red calipers are accented with the V-Series logo.
- Standard Super Cruise, the industry’s first truly hands-free driver assistance technology (with three years of OnStar connected service).
